Weโre incredibly happy and honoured by these results.
We also had the honour of receiving a beautiful award in memory of Giuliano Danesi, whom I had the pleasure of knowing and remember with great warmth.

We participated in the 150th Honbuten Show in Takasaki, Japan.
We were again the only foreigners to exhibit dogs we bred ourselves. And again our dogs made us very proud achieving excellent results after traveling halfway across the globe to take part in this prestigious event in their country of origin.
Showing dogs at the Honbuten is a significant challenge, one that few foreigners have undertaken, and we are the only ones to do so consistently. Itโs a demanding endeavor in terms of logistics, time and finances, but we are incredibly proud of each result and experience gained.

FRANCE 2024
Busy show weekend in France at 3 shows: 50th Anniversary of Nationale D’Elevage – major national breed-specialty dog show, World Japanese Breeds Dog Show (that takes place biennially), and finally Regionale du CFCNSJ, each with big entries and honorable judges: Brit Nyberg (NO), Hidechika Yamagami (JP), Bessho Satoshi (JP) and Francesco Pascarelli (IT).ย
WAKAHIRYUU GO Fuen No Oka takes BEST OF BREED twice:ย
ย BEST OF BREED out of 112 Akitas under judge Hidechika Yamagami BEST OF BREED out of 59 Akitas under judge Francesco Pascarelli 
BAKUGAN GO Fuen No Oka also did great, winning one of the biggest open classes: 1st / 10 and second day: 1st out of 18 & CAC, and finally he became Best Tail holder of all 112 Akitasย
MIYAGIKU GO Fuen No Oka in Junior class finished:ย 1 / 18 Junior Winner at World Japanese Dog Show 2 / 16 Junior v-ce Winner at 50me Nationale Elevage
Our kennel, Fuen No Oka, has also become 2 x Best Akita Kennel and BEST IN SHOW and rBEST IN SHOW Best Breeding Group.

JAPAN, Dec. 2023
We participated in the 148th Honbuten Show in Japan, which saw a record-breaking entry of over 200 Akitas.
We were again the only foreigners to exhibit dogs we bred ourselves.
The highlight of the event was our male Akita, who achieved a historic victory by becoming the first male Akita born outside of Japan
to win the Seiken A class and the prestigious Meiyosho title. This accomplishment is a significant milestone for us.

JAPAN, May 2023
One of two most important Akita shows of the year in Japan, with nearly 190 Akitas entered. We were again the only foreigners to show their own bred dogs during this special event. This time we attended with our two beautiful youngsters: Bakugan and Shizuka.
They did great. Bakugan, the youngest in the class, finished second, Waka inu class v-ce winner!!!ย
We have also received an award for breeding and show achievement.
